maybe being a bit metro is not a bad thing. i joke about how some of my male friends are overly feminine as a result of hanging out with me and my girl friends so much, but maybe they should thank us. i'm finding that some men are not as fortunate to have friends like me and judy; some men do not kno how to associate with women. if you think about it, that can be very detrimental to their dating life. women like to be understood, and what better way for men to understand women -- aside from having a sister -- than to have good, platonic opposite sex relationships? (whether men can have platonic opposite sex friendships is a debate we'll save for another day.)

that said, none of my fruitified male friends are ACTUALLY dating anyone. but i am working on that detail. ... they are, um, still ripening.
