Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
i didn't think i would enjoy this so much, but i liked it. i even laughed several times...
also, i watched Sense and Sensibility recently. alan rickman (professor snape) plays one of the romantic leads in that movie. it's very odd. can you imagine a romantic character with professor snape's slow, slurred speech? (giving you time to imagine) he's actually very endearing... anyway, it's not a bad movie. kate winslet is in it. i like kate winslet.

this viewing was long overdue. i suppose the basic plot isn't extraordinary. it's actually like a lot of other 80's chick flicks: Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, etc. -- basically, it's about a guy and a girl from different cliques/backgrounds who fall in love and have to overcome obstacles. i suppose what makes it extraordinary is the peter gabriel scene. i'll admit, it's probably the best scene.
