doesn't it look cool? ... ok, it might not look so cool when you put me in there instead of zhang ziyi. in fact, it could be downright dangerous/embarassing. i'd probably end up getting tangled up in the sleeves before i get 10 steps into the dance.
but that's irrelevant, because i've decided that chinese sword dancing is awesomer.
i'm still trying to figure out if it's more or less dangerous than dancing with really long sleeves though... my dad suggested i try wooden blocks instead of swords. however, i have a feeling that will look a lot less awesome.

I think her sleeves were computerized in that movie.
kolina: REALLY? O.O the fear that i may hurt myself grows. but we shall find out soon enough. my aunt's sister-in-law teaches both and i'm getting my first lesson tomorrow.
alice: i figured they were computerized...but even with sleeves that aren't computerized, they could prove to be mortal. it was a nice inspirational picture.
I can show you, I did that in SLO, only that we didn't have the sleeves version. But I have a habit of getting tangled, so maybe I won't be the best person to show you ;).
